Property Announcements: Please help us continue our efforts to reduce our building's carbon footpirnt by focusing on energy awareness! We will be posting useful energy tips and environmental information on the website and in the the lobby. Tips for Keeping Your Apartment Warm: Let there be light! Open shades and curtains on south-facing windows during the day to let in the sun. Turn your thermostat down before you leave for the day! Dress in layers! As mom always used to say, "Put on a sweater". Wearing an extra layer of clothing will keep your body temperature up and your heating bill down! Don't forget that thick socks or slippers will help keep you warm too. Be more like Linus from Peanuts - use a blanket! Why heat the whole place while you are sleeping? Plug in the electric blanket and you can have a cozy warm bed while the rest of your house remains at an affordable temperature during the night hours. A blanket with dual temperature controls is best if you share your bed! Resident Activities: Join our Book Club! Next meeting: Monday, March 8th at 7pm in the clubroom!
